A-FEMALE BARN CATS Calico Young Female in Tyler, Texas

My story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.6/19/20 - CATS URGENTLY NEED HELP IN TYLER, TX. A few days ago I was contacted to help with some cats at a home just outside of the SE side of the Tyler city limits. The person living at the home was hospitalized last year, in rehab, and recently was admitted to a nursing home permanently 2 weeks ago. There are 2 inside cats that are only friendly to the woman that was in the home. The electricity will be cut off to the house soon, and her friend who has been helping this woman adopted her dog, and is desperately searching for a place for the 2 inside cats before the electricity is cut off. She needs to trap them, but only when she has a place for them to go. None of the cats at this home have had vet care, so spays, neuters, and vaccinations will need to be done. She has tried to get them to come out for can food with no success, so she can't get pictures of them, and doesn't know their gender. They only come out after she leaves the house to eat, drink, and use the litter box. If anyone can provide a new home for the 2 inside cats, please contact Jean as soon as possible at

or e-mail trollhaven8@yahoo.com. Once the inside cats have a home, she can work on finding outside homes for the outside cats. I still have over 20 cats here, and a person I've been helping for several years with cats, is currently receiving cancer treatment, so I may need to take in her 15 cats. Please share and reach out to anyone that can help with these cats. From Jean:'I do not know the exact day the electricity will be shut off, since the mail now goes to the nursing home. The electric bill was not paid the last part of May, so it will be off soon. I have counted 12 adult cats and some kittens outside that will come and mill around my feet when I'm feeding them, but none of them are tame, so they won't let me touch them, and she has been feeding outside cats for 15 years. They would make good barn cats. Several are Grey tabbies, and 4 Calico cats. Recently I have seen 3 Black and White kittens, 2 Black kittens, and a litter of 5 (about 2-3 weeks old). The litter has been moved, probably are under the house now. The only time I see any of them is when I feed them. The kittens do not come then. I have just seen them run under the house.'
